The Seniors in Motion is a program designed to give seniors the tools to promote healthy aging and maintain your well-being. During the 6 week program, participants will experience a variety of exercise sessions, including yoga and hydrotherapy. As well as gain knowledge through 3 expert lead health education sessions. Once you have completed the program, you will be well on your way to continue enhancing your health independently.
After you have completed the Seniors in Motion program, we recommend the following opportunities outlined below to maintain and keep building on your health improvements.
Use the program exercise handouts and resistance bands to continue with aspects of the program that you can do safely at home.
Join our Seniors Motion and Mobility classes to continue with guided group exercise sessions led by our program lead. For more information on our Seniors Motion and Mobility class, click here.
Book a one-on-one consultation with our Program Lead to develop a personalized exercise plan tailored to you. During your consultation they will design a plan that involves individual exercise sessions in the clinic/gym or in the therapy pool based on your consultation and goals.
